Evaluation

How does the evaluation work and how much does it cost?

Each evaluation session is $20 per dog. We want your furry friend to have the best time possible at our facility and that means making sure they fit in with the rest of the group.

Our evaluation will take around 1 hour and we will assess how your dog interacts with other dogs in a cage-free environment. We’ll observe their social behavior, play style, and ability to engage positively with peers.

Additionally, we evaluate their comfort level with handlers to ensure they respond well to guidance and care.

We will also let them spend some time in a kennel independently to see if they are able to settle comfortably without too much stress. This is because we usually utilise kennels to let the dogs eat and rest in.

This comprehensive approach helps us create a safe and enjoyable experience for all dogs.

How long will the evaluation take and do i need to be present?

The evaluation will take about 3 hours. You do not need to be present for the evaluation as we wish to assess your dog’s behaviour and temperament in new environments with new handlers. We will drop you a call or text when we are done.

General

Can my dog for for daycare/boarding if they are on heat?

For the safety and well-being of all our furry guests, we kindly advise that dogs in heat refrain from joining our daycare activities. In the event that a dog comes into heat during their boarding stay, they will not participate in group play sessions to maintain a secure environment for all. Instead, they will go for individual walks and engage in individual activities or 1-to-1 engagement with our handlers.

Additionally, dogs in heat must wear diapers at all times to ensure a hygienic and comfortable experience for them and their fellow canine companions.

What if my dog is not potty-trained?

If your dog is still working on their potty training, we've got it covered! Our facility is equipped with pee pads for indoor potty needs, and we make sure to take them out regularly for outdoor bathroom breaks. To prevent marking and accidents indoors, we also provide diapers for your dog to wear. If you have any specific preferences or instructions, feel free to share, and we'll make sure your dog feels right at home.
